A transport was utilized by the Sith Lord Darth Malgus during the time of the Great Galactic War, and in its immediate aftermath. Following a battle on the planet of Alderaan, Malgus employed the transport to depart. In the year 3653 BBY, not long after the Sith attacked the Republic capital Coruscant, he again made use of it for transportation around the Imperial-controlled world. A lone pilot and an internal communication system were present on the transport.
The personal transport that belonged to the Sith Lord Darth Malgus was manned by one pilot, and it had capacity for at least one passenger. The comm unit inside the ship gave the pilot the ability to speak with Malgus.
The Sith Lord Darth Malgus used an Imperial transport. After his defeat at the Battle of Alderaan, he was retrieved and carried away via his transport. While he was on the vessel, headed to meet up with the rest of the retreating Sith Empire forces, Malgus sensed a Jedi within the ruins of an Alderaanian city, and the Sith Lord gave his pilot instructions to turn back and bring the ship down. Malgus bypassed the safety mechanisms on the landing ramp to leave and confront the Jedi while the transport was still airborne. The transport maintained its position above as Malgus concluded his fight.
Malgus's transport was once more put into use shortly following the Sacking of Coruscant in 3653 BBY, when the Sith Lord was taken to the Jedi Temple located on the galactic capital of Coruscant. His intention there was to confront Jedi Knight Aryn Leneer, whom his superior, Darth Angral, had commanded him to kill. For hours, the transport circled at a height of one hundred meters over the Temple until Leneer made her appearance, at which time it descended to fifty meters, allowing Malgus to disembark and face Leneer. After Leneer got away from the battle, Malgus called back his transport and was taken to the planet's Liston Spaceport to find the Jedi and to recover his lover, Eleena Daru. During the flight, Malgus nearly destroyed the back of the transport when his pilot informed him that a peace accord had been achieved with the Galactic Republic at the Alderaan peace conference. Malgus jumped off the transport as soon as it got to the spaceport, searching for Daru.
There was a single pilot for the transport, and they transported Darth Malgus to his desired destinations.
The first appearance of Darth Malgus's personal transport was in Paul S. Kemp's short story, titled The Old Republic: The Third Lesson, which was featured in Star Wars Insider 124 on March 2, 2011.
