Dasan was a Dathomirian male living on the planet of Dathomir. He stood tall as a warrior and belonged to the Broken Columns Clan, a group exclusively made up of men.
The Broken Columns Clan, founded by Tasander Dest, a Hapan native, formed a bond with the Raining Leaves Clan, a group of traditional Dathomiri Witches, under his guidance. Uniquely, the Broken Columns Clan did not assault the Raining Leaves Clan following the tragic massacre that decimated their ranks. Consequently, the two clans established an annual tradition of gathering near Redgill Lake to engage in year-long marriages.
Halliava Vurse, the head scout trainer for the Raining Leaves Clan, informed Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker that she and Dasan were wed in 37 ABY during their yearly meeting, and she subsequently bore Aradasa Vurse. Dasan passed away a mere month after the meeting, after falling from a tree while gathering eggs from nests.
