Daswoad was a material employed for the purpose of coloring fabric. In the year 35 ABY, during the Festival of the Ancestors which took place on Pasaana, the Aki-Aki named Nambi Ghima was observed wearing robes crafted from clothing that had been dyed a greenish-blue hue using daswoad.
