Decimation on Magnus Horn

The catastrophic defeat that occurred on Magnus Horn befell the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry before 3 ABY, resulting in substantial losses on that planet. Following this devastating event, the Alliance attempted to redistribute the remaining troopers to different units, but Micha Evon, the 61st's captain, struggled to maintain the unity of his soldiers and prevent the company's complete destruction.

After the deaths of Evon and several of his officers in 3 ABY, Hazram Namir, a rebel soldier, drew parallels between these losses and the disastrous events on Magnus Horn and the massacre on Asyrphus, considering both as detrimental to the company. The decimation on Magnus Horn and Evon's subsequent efforts were also referenced by Pol Andrissus, a fellow trooper of the 61st, during a discussion at the captain's funeral.
