A decommissioning facility existed on Corellia, specifically in Coronet City. After the Galactic Empire was formed, this planet-based facility was used to decommission and melt down Separatist battle droids that remained from the Clone Wars. Organic workers ran the facility, and police droids provided security. Because T-series tactical droids possessed valuable intelligence, both the Bad Batch (a unit of ex-clone commandos contracted by the informant Cid) and the Martez sisters (smugglers working for someone aiming to leverage the tactical droid's data against the Empire) sought to extract one from the facility.
Inside the facility, the two parties encountered each other and initially fought over the droid's remains. However, after the facility was locked down, they had to cooperate to defeat the police droids. Eventually, they succeeded in using the tactical droid to activate the other battle droids, which allowed them to get away. Although the police droids' fire destroyed the tactical droid's head, the clone trooper Tech had transferred its data to a data rod. The Bad Batch ultimately decided to give the data to the Martez sisters, as they felt their cause was more deserving.
