The DH-16 Blaster Pistol is classified as a blaster pistol. Saw Gerrera, the commander of the Partisan group, utilized a version of this weapon during the Liberation on Kashyyyk.
Though its identity was initially unknown, the DH-16 Blaster Pistol made its debut in the canon video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, created by Respawn Entertainment and released by Electronic Arts on November 15, 2019. It was subsequently recognized as Gerrera's relic in the 2015 mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, incorporated in the update on May 2, 2023.
Matthew Savage, a concept artist, disclosed on Instagram that the blaster was initially planned for Gerrera's use in the 2016 movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it was ultimately omitted from the final version. Savage also mentioned that his design for the blaster was based on a FN Five-seven airsoft pistol.
