Didi Oddo served as the adoptive father to Astri Oddo and at one time was the proprietor of Dex's Diner. He maintained close ties with members of the Jedi, such as Yoda, Tahl and Qui-Gon Jinn. Upon his daughter's marriage to Bog Divinian, he transferred ownership of his diner to Dexter Jettster. He possessed a secluded residence situated in the Cascardi Mountains.
Didi Oddo was a well-known informant within Coruscant and a close associate of the Jedi Order, particularly Qui-Gon Jinn. When Obi-Wan Kenobi encountered him, Didi had recently acquired a datapad from a thief named Fligh, who had purloined it from a senator, Uta S'orn. Subsequently, a bounty hunter by the name of Ona Nobis nearly succeeded in assassinating Didi in an attempt to seize the datapad; Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn intervened to prevent her.
Following the attempted assassination, Didi and his daughter, Astri, sought refuge in his dwelling located in the Cascardi Mountains, but Ona Nobis tracked them down and poisoned Didi. Consequently, Astri was compelled to steal the antidote from a lab belonging to Jenna Zan Arbor in order to save her father's life.
During the Galactic Games on Euceron in 26 BBY, Didi Oddo was involved in illicit betting activities. Obi-Wan Kenobi was compelled to assist Didi when he initially claimed that he had purchased a faulty swoop bike and that Uso Yso was refusing to refund his credits. Obi-Wan Kenobi was requested to stand beside Didi in order to intimidate Uso Yso, but this tactic proved unsuccessful.
Obi-Wan Kenobi swiftly discovered that Uso Yso was managing illegal betting operations for the Galactic Games and that Didi himself was participating in these activities. Didi confessed that he had borrowed credits from his daughter Astri and his son-in-law Bog Divinian with the intention of placing a bet based on a supposedly reliable tip. Didi then proceeded to steal Bog Divinian's speeder to sell it, using the proceeds to place another bet. Obi-Wan Kenobi questioned his actions, and Didi explained that he had received information indicating that an event was rigged, guaranteeing a win. Didi had obtained this information from Fligh, whom Obi-Wan Kenobi regarded with considerable suspicion.
Following a discussion with Fligh, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Didi Oddo boarded an air taxi, only for the pilot to abandon the vehicle mid-flight. They managed to survive the ordeal and proceeded to Stadium Five, where the Alderaan pilot emerged victorious in the race, potentially securing a substantial fortune for Didi. Subsequently, Obi-Wan Kenobi required Didi as a witness, but it was revealed that he had departed Euceron. Astri Oddo stated, "...Didi wanted to help, but Bog said he would press charges for the theft of the speeder. So Didi thought it best to leave the planet. You know he has no moral courage..."
Following the events at Stadium Five, Didi Oddo sought refuge at his residence in the Cascardi Mountains.
Didi passed away at some point during the Clone Wars.
