Astri Oddo was a culinary artist, the adopted daughter of Didi Oddo, and the individual who owned Dex's Diner prior to Dex.
Astri worked as the cook at Didi's Cafe, which was owned by her adoptive father, Didi Oddo. Didi had discovered her as an infant abandoned at the cafe's entrance. Through her father, she encountered Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Later, after Obi-Wan's Master was taken prisoner and her father was shot by the bounty hunter Ona Nobis, she accompanied Obi-Wan to locate Jenna Zan Arbor, who was holding Qui-Gon Jinn captive, and to find a cure for Didi's ailment. Subsequently, she "married a homesteader in the Outer Rim." She later entered into marriage with Senator Bog Divinian, and they had a son named Lune Oddo Divinian. However, with the aid of the Jedi, she left Bog for an extended period, establishing Nuralee as her adopted homeworld.
In 18 BBY, with the consent of prime minister Aaren Larker, she intentionally corrupted the computer systems of the planet Samaria. This prompted Emperor Palpatine to dispatch Ferus Olin to apprehend her. However, the former Jedi instead aided her and her son in evading the grasp of the Galactic Empire, and relocating to a concealed asteroid base situated within an atmospheric storm near the planet Acherin. Later, she and her son Lune took up residence in the Orange Sector of Coruscant, within the safe house maintained by Dex.
She spent a considerable amount of time with the Erased and developed sufficient trust to entrust Keets Freely and Curran Caladian with the care of Lune. Regrettably, Imperial Stormtroopers abducted Lune with the intention of training him as an Imperial Pilot. However, Dexter dispatched Trever Flume and Ferus Olin to rescue him. She expressed profound gratitude for Lune's safe return.
When a mysterious young woman known as Flam arrived with the intention of forming a Rebellion team named Moonstrike, Clive Flax, a friend of Ferus, suspected her of being an Imperial spy. He enlisted Astri's assistance. They subsequently discovered that Flame was, in fact, Eve Yarrow, and that she was allied with the Sith Lord Darth Vader. Clive and she then contacted the base, alerting them to this revelation.
Following the destruction of the base by Vader's superweapon, Astri and Clive jointly decided to adopt Trever after his memory was erased to safeguard him, causing him to forget what he knew about Darth Vader's real identity and all the events of the past year.
Astri, along with Clive and Trever, perished during their attempt to destroy an Imperial factory on Bellazura. Their son, Lune Divinian, was unable to participate in the battle and consequently survived.
