The Drall, a species dwelling in the Corellia system alongside humans and Selonians, possessed eyes highly sensitive to light. The flashstick, a non-lethal weapon, proved remarkably effective against Drall, used almost exclusively by the Drall constabulary, whose members typically wore polarized goggles to shield their eyes from the weapon's blinding effects, in addition to those of their target.
Within the current Star Wars canon, the Drall received their initial mention in Gadgets and Gear, a 2019 roleplaying supplement by Fantasy Flight Games. This species initially appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity, specifically in the 1980 novel Han Solo and the Lost Legacy by Brian Daley.
