Dreadnought

A ship of the Executor-class Dreadnought type represented a fearsome weapon due to its immense size. Capital ships of enormous size and power were known as Dreadnoughts capital ships. According to the standards of the Anaxes War College System, a ship was considered a dreadnought if it measured 5,000 meters or more in length. The Providence-class and Subjugator-class employed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems were examples of dreadnoughts, along with the various vessels in the Mandator line used by the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, and later, the First Order. Super Star Destroyers belonging to the Galactic Empire, including those of the Executor-class, were also known as Star Dreadnoughts. The Nihil criminal organization made use of a dreadnought called the Technocrat.
