Dryden Vos, the crime lord, possessed a desk situated within Dryden's study aboard his yacht, the First Light, throughout the Imperial Era; this desk was known as Dryden's desk. Its foundation was constructed from obsidian, which Dryden acquired through looting a Sith temple. The stone featured carved warding spells, along with an inscription that stated, "Our temple honouring Sith Lord Exar Kun".
The desk belonging to Dryden made its initial appearance in the Star Wars Anthology film Solo: A Star Wars Story, released in 2018. Its identification also occurred in the companion reference book, Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, authored by Pablo Hidalgo.
