This confrontation pitted the Barsen'thor against Terrak Morrhage, who had control over Parkanas Tark's physical form at the time.
After Master Yuon Par became sick, her Padawan had the responsibility of discovering a remedy. By locating the three Noetikons, the Barsen'thor discovered that Terrak Morrhage was responsible for the plague, and also how to combat it – through the use of a potent Shielding Technique. After mastering this technique, the Barsen'thor cured Yuon Par, and journeyed across the galaxy, healing Jedi who were suffering from the affliction. Ultimately, the Barsen'thor traced the plague's origin to Lord Vivicar's solitary flagship located in the remote Outer Rim, and then departed to confront Vivicar.
The Barsen'thor encountered a massive figure – Vivicar. At this point, it became clear that Vivicar had been corrupted by Terrak Morrhage's spirit. The Barsen'thor then engaged the arrogant Sith Lord in an intense battle.
Although Vivicar employed dark techniques, he proved to be no match for the Barsen'thor, who overwhelmed him. Utilizing the Shielding Technique, the Barsen'thor forced Terrak Morrhage's spirit out of the body of the innocent Parkanas Tark, thereby restoring him to his former Jedi self.
