Circa 3643 BBY, Ebenga's assignment involved locating a suspected Imperial spy named Alma, operating close to Fort Garnik located on Ord Mantell. In an event where Alma requested a Republic operative to recover a necklace of familial importance from her dwelling in Talloran village, Ebenga successfully intercepted this person. Ebenga revealed that the so-called heirloom was, in actuality, a device used for recording. Following the device's acquisition, the operative handed it over to Ebenga, who then transmitted it to the SIS for purposes of decryption and subsequent analysis. Subsequently, Ebenga made reference to the operative within his report to Harson Nild, who held the position of Director within the Core Worlds Operations Group.
