Entha Kandela was a Zabrak female scout from the planet Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Serving as an animal-control officer for Mos Eisley, Entha Kandela, a capable scout, worked under the command of Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt. Leading up to the time of the Battle of Yavin, she faced significant budget constraints, which resulted in the uncontrolled proliferation of pests outside the city's boundaries, posing a serious threat to public health. In 1 ABY, she contracted an individual to address this issue. This spacer, while connected to Jabba the Hutt's criminal organization, was acting on behalf of Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt. For a sum of 2,150 credits, the spacer successfully eradicated a variety of creatures, including womp rats, kreetles, worrts, tempest rills and rockmites, thereby satisfying Kandela's requirements.
Entha Kandela existed as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Entha Kandela was integrated into the game with the "Publish 17" update, released on May 26, 2005. She functioned as a specialized trainer, providing quests for new players who had selected the "scout" profession. Upon the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005, the "scout" career was removed from the game, and Entha Kandela's quests were significantly modified to become available to all new players.
