Epic Collection

Epic Collection, a Marvel Comics imprint, serves the purpose of reprinting extensive comic collections in trade paperback format. Currently, the ongoing Star Wars Legends Epic Collections are dedicated to reprinting all Legends comics originally published by Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and various other publishers. Each curated collection presents comics in chronological sequence, encompassing narratives from the Star Wars Tales series, Star Wars: Tag & Bink, and the Star Wars: Visionaries graphic novel. This contrasts with the thematic organization of the earlier Star Wars Omnibuses from Dark Horse Comics. Certain Epic Collections have been combined, resulting in even larger hardcover Marvel Omnibuses. Mike Hansen has, to date, compiled the contents of all Epic Collections (and the majority of Marvel Omnibuses that include Legends content).

In May of 2023, it was revealed that Marvel Comics would commence the publication of Star Wars titles under the new Modern Era Epic Collection banner. In contrast to the previous Legends Epic Collections, these collections will begin reprinting Canon comics released by Marvel Comics starting from 2015. The release of these Epic Collections is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2024.
