EV-series supervisor droid
The EV-series droid overseer, also called the EV-series supervisor droid, represented a supervisor droid model that was produced by MerenData. This particular droid design was known for its lanky physique. One such droid, specifically EV-9D9, was employed by Jabba Desilijic Tiure as the head of Cyborg Operations within his palace.
Around the time of 9 ABY, EV-9D9 took on the role of a bartender at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina.
History
During the period of the Galactic Civil War, the Pyke Syndicate made use of multiple EV-series supervisor droids. These droids, which were black-plated with orange stripes on their shoulders, were stationed in the Kessel Control Center at the Coaxium Mines of Kessel.
Behind the scenes
Within various earlier Star Wars productions, EV-series supervisor droids have been depicted as bartenders. For instance, in the Legends video game adaptation of the 1999 movie Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, the EV unit with the designation EV-7G7 served as a bartender at the 7-Gee Lounge located within the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Furthermore, an EV unit named Isaac was seen bartending on the Khetanna during the "Fett Defeated" segment of Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III, a non-canon Robot Chicken special that initially aired on December 19, 2010.
