Eyleen

Eyleen was a female Human who made her home on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, she became associated with a band of criminals residing in the impoverished areas of Mos Espa. This group also consisted of individuals named Hilbrun, Tiomvo, and Guz'Ordnak. In the year 1 ABY, they sold the motivator booster controller from an R2 unit to Watto, a junk dealer. One of the group members left their swoop bike as security, but they failed to compensate Watto for the booster controller. Due to the fact that this particular R2 unit was sought after by both Imperial Commander Barrezz and Rebel Captain Bastra, a space traveler subsequently attempted to reclaim the motivator booster controller. Eyleen and her fellow thieves immediately assaulted the spacer, but the spacer was successful in recovering the booster controller from Hilbrun's USV-5 Modified Landspeeder.

Behind the scenes

Eyleen featured as a non-player character within Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, the video game from 2003, which itself was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts. The game's servers were taken offline on December 15 of 2011. Eyleen's inclusion in the game was part of the "Legacy Quest" introduced with the "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," which went live on November 15 of 2005.

Eyleen, ready for action.

Eyleen functions as an enemy NPC, and she may engage the player in combat if they attempt to take engine components from a landspeeder situated very close to her location. Should she initiate an attack, the player is required to defeat her in order to acquire the components, since interaction with objects is impossible while in combat. However, because it is possible to move around her undetected and obtain the components without being noticed, her ultimate fate (death or survival) is not officially part of the story.

The game's directory .tree files and reference manuals indicate that this character was initially given the name Daezii Mae.
