The Fadda-Rarb Arda of the Aki-Aki species served as a tribal protector of the young children raised together on the planet of Pasaana. Once Arda became an adult, they were present at the Festival of the Ancestors located in the Forbidden Valley in 35 ABY. During the festival, Arda, alongside fellow guardian Jesba-Be Issa, stood near some of the festival's tents, each holding a young Aki-Aki. As Arda made gentle sounds to the infant, agents of the Resistance, who were searching for a Sith wayfinder, walked past the guardians. Arda was dressed in a red robe and possessed gray skin along with brown eyes.
The character Fadda-Rarb Arda was developed for the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, part of the sequel trilogy, and their identity was confirmed in the companion reference book titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. The character was brought to life by creature and droid puppeteer Barbara Fadden, with the name Fadda-Rarb Arda being a rearrangement of the performer's name. Fadden also played the roles of Faddaff Davenspon and Odla Sur within the same film.
