Falco Sang, a male Human bounty hunter, was renowned for his specialization in assassinations.

Seeking vengeance for the death of Dezono Qua, Sang and his droid companion, Izee, were contracted to eliminate Jedi fugitive Dass Jennir and his associates. They infiltrated Imperial Prison ISO-L8 by using an asteroid to conceal their starship. After killing Janks, a captured member of Jennir's crew, they downloaded Imperial intelligence on their target. Sang and Izee then made a narrow escape from the station, successfully evading security and Darth Vader, who happened to be present.
The pair's search led them to the desert world of Prine, where they located Dezono Qua's abandoned starship. Izee determined that the footprints leading away from the vessel were approximately fifteen days old. Sang instructed Izee to track the footprints while he mounted a speeder bike.
However, Jennir used the Force to sense their approach and directed his own droid, H2, to erase their trail as they advanced. Sang and Izee eventually reached a point where the trail ended. Removing his helmet, Sang decided to make camp for the night and divide their search efforts the following morning. During this time, Izee discovered fresh tracks left by a group of pirates during the night. Sang reasoned that Jennir and his female companion would be traveling with the caravan in search of civilization. Sang then requested Izee to display a topographical map of the area, which he used to devise a plan for an ambush.
Sang and Izee positioned themselves ahead of the caravan, only to be surprised by a sudden disturbance. Jennir had launched a rescue operation for Chankeli, who had been taken captive by the pirates. Due to their unfavorable position on the lower ground, Sang could not clearly see what was happening, reminding Izee of the importance of securing the high ground whenever possible. To Izee's surprise, Sang later shot a pirate who was aiming at Jennir, explaining that only he was permitted to kill the Jedi.
As the conflict subsided, Jennir was about to free the chained Ember Chankeli and her new acquaintance Maddie when Sang fired at the barge, causing an explosion and leaving Chankeli suspended by her chained leg. When Jennir attempted to assist her, Sang fired another shot, narrowly missing the Jedi's head. Jennir chose to flee with H2 and Maddie, intending to return for Chankeli later, as Sang pursued them at high speed. With Maddie escaping on Jennir's mount, Sang began to close in on his primary target. However, Jennir managed to land a precise shot on the bounty hunter's speeder, sending Sang flying through the air. Despite this, the skilled assassin regained his composure mid-air and landed firmly, wielding dual blaster pistols. Upon looking ahead, he realized that Jennir had already vanished into the mountains.

Sang allowed the surviving pirates to leave but kept Chankeli as his prisoner. She expressed surprise at his act of mercy, but he clarified that he was not a monster, simply a professional. She pointed out that they might return, as he had forced them to abandon their barges. He responded that if they did, he would kill them. She questioned why he had spared her while letting the others go and attempted to seduce him. However, he retorted that her footprints matched those of Jennir's companion, and therefore she would serve as bait. Chankeli tried to reason with her captor, asserting that she had no loyalty to the Jedi and that her lies were the reason they were stranded on the planet. She proposed that in exchange for her freedom and the bounty, she would lure Jennir back. Sang inquired how she could be sure he wouldn't betray her in the end, and Chankeli replied that, as he had just stated, he was a professional. The bounty hunter then reached into Chankeli's shirt and retrieved a blaster, explaining that as a professional, he always took precautions against being shot in the back. Sang then gagged her and tied her to a post, awaiting Jennir's arrival. As a precaution, Sang instructed Izee to lock a sniper on the back of her chest in case she tried to escape or alert his prey.
Sang waited in hiding beneath one of the barges. Jennir eventually appeared to rescue his companion, and Sang managed to land a direct hit. However, as the cloak and hat fell to the ground, he discovered it was H2. The real Jennir then ambushed Sang from behind, using telekinesis to pull him out from under the barge and disarming him. Jennir had anticipated that Sang would not risk such a long-range shot at night, but the bounty hunter revealed that he had waited for another reason: to witness Jennir, a Jedi, die. Jennir then slammed his adversary against the barge. As the bounty hunter revealed the reason for his pursuit, Jennir instructed H2 to free Chankeli. He also explained that he had used H2's security channels and the Imperial records on Qua's ship to track them across the galaxy. As Sang concluded his story, he revealed that he had already killed Janks and would now kill Jennir's "girlfriend" as well. Giving the signal, Izee fired a shot directly into H2, penetrating its chassis and striking Chankeli. As Jennir knelt over the woman and attempted to heal her, Sang ordered Izee to fire a second shot, this time at the Jedi. As the bolt approached, however, Jennir drew his lightsaber and effortlessly deflected the shot back into Izee, destroying it without even looking. With Jennir distracted, Sang managed to escape. As he reached his speeder, panting, he felt remorse for his destroyed droid.

Sang returned to the ships to discover that the area was being patrolled by Stormtroopers. After muttering a curse under his breath, Sang was startled by a voice from behind. Darth Vader, recognizing him as the intruder who had murdered the now uncooperative Janks, lifted him into the air and began choking him, stating that he would have plenty of time to reveal everything he knew about Jennir.
Vader then imprisoned him within a research facility on Coruscant, where he was forced to navigate a challenging obstacle course while dodging blaster fire from battle droids. Eventually, Sang realized that they were only using stinger blasters and decided to ignore the shots, even refraining from returning fire, and attempted to escape twice. Vader later ordered the stinger blasters to be replaced with live blasters, but instructed the droids to only shoot to wound. Upon discovering this, Sang was shot in the foot and required a repulsorlift to move around. The following day, he angrily confronted Vader, accusing him of trying to have him killed. However, Vader responded by telekinetically lifting him and then throwing him, stating that Sang would have been dead long ago if that were his intention, and that he would kill Sang personally if he proved to be useless to either himself or the Empire. He eventually witnessed the transmission of the Venator-class Star Destroyer Tenacious' dereliction of duty, and decided that obedience to Vader is not universal.
At some point afterwards, a new strategy was implemented under Gregg's suggestion: Deliberately placing Gregg without protection from Sang, yet at the same time reprogramming the entire prison facility to lock down should Gregg be killed, ensuring that Sang would be trapped in the facility. Sang was eventually convinced to aid Vader in tracking down Jennir after being reassured that Vader will not interfere with his bounty. Sang, in an attempt to impress Vader per Gregg's suggestion, fought him shortly after Vader delivered Sang's ship from the impound. Sang and Gregg later ended up fixing the ship in the aftermath, due to the engines only running on 80% of power. After Jennir was discovered on the Colonies world of Kestavel, Sang accompanied Vader over to the Venator-class Star Destroyer Hound, also using his own ship to bring Vader to the Star Destroyer. Upon boarding, he also yelled at some Imperial officers who dismissively referred to him as "Vader's pet."
His reputation was comparable to that of the notorious Boba Fett; while Fett was the go-to person for capturing someone, Sang was the one to hire when someone needed to be eliminated.
