Faraire was a male Human who held the rank of General and was a member of the War Trust within the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War.
In 3642 BBY, during the Occupation of Taris, Faraire became one of the four leading military Generals in the Republic Strategic High Command's War Trust. While on Taris, Faraire, together with the other generals, bore the responsibility of directing the Republic Strategic High Command's efforts to combat the Sith Empire and further the progress of Project Siantide.
Darth Baras resolved to terminate the War Trust, dispatching his apprentice to eliminate its members. When confronted within his compound, Faraire deployed a battle droid that was powered by the newly created Siantide technology. He boasted that it surpassed any weapons the Empire could develop by a factor of ten and would force the Empire's capitulation. However, the Sith Warrior disabused him of this notion by demonstrating that no technology could rival the Force, destroying the droid. Stunned by this display, Faraire attempted to flee, but Captain Malavai Quinn and Lieutenant Pierce, who had anticipated his escape attempt, intercepted him. Cornered, Faraire formally surrendered, inquiring whether he would receive fair treatment as stipulated by the Treaty of Coruscant. The Warrior refused this request and used Force-choking to kill him.
