FimmRess existed during the Cold War as a male Human Sith within the ranks of the Sith Empire. He was sent to Alderaan in 3643 BBY and took on the role of Bodyguard for the Duke Kendoh Thul of House of Thul, a group aligned with the Empire, though his ultimate allegiance remained with the Sith.
When the Sith apprentice of Darth Baras made contact with Kendoh, the Duke casually instructed FimmRess to eliminate them. FimmRess refused, explaining that Kendoh lacked the authority to issue such a command. Witnessing two Sith who were not at odds, Kendoh altered his stance and began assisting Baras' apprentice in their mission. FimmRess soon went with them to the estate of Lady Renata Alde, from which he then escorted the captive noble to Kendoh. While Baras' apprentice was sabotaging the Alderaan power generator, Kendoh seized the opportunity to murder some of his political adversaries, and when Darth Baras contacted him, he audaciously blamed the killings on his apprentice. Upon the Sith's return, they demanded Kendoh's life for attempting to frame them before their master. Kendoh attempted to get FimmRess to help him, but he declined, declaring that Darth Baras' power was greater than Kendoh's. Therefore, he stood by as the Sith Warrior killed the Duke. With his assignment to protect the Duke now over, he said goodbye to the other Sith and left for Korriban.
FimmRess displayed respect towards other Sith, a contrast to the typical arrogance and competitiveness found among them. Despite his assignment to guard Duke Kendoh, his true devotion lay with the Sith, and he would never act against Baras or Baras' Apprentice. He actually held the Duke in contempt and would have killed him if the Sith Warrior had requested it. As a Sith, FimmRess considered mercy and hesitation to be signs of weakness and would not hesitate to kill those who displayed them.
Alternatively, the Sith Warrior has the option to ask FimmRess to kill the Duke for them, an order he would happily carry out. The Warrior can also choose to kill FimmRess in addition to the Duke. Should the Sith Warrior show mercy to the Duke by refusing to have him killed or exiled, FimmRess will deem the Warrior weak and engage them in combat.
