Fleek eels constituted a species of eel characterized by their gray skin, a noticeable ridge along their back, and a pink, fleshy entrance to their buccal tunnel. The majority of species regarded them as a choice food. These eels inhabited the oceans surrounding the planet Corellia and were harvested by Coronet City's fishermen, holding a prominent position in the city's seafood markets. They were also fished from the Hocekureem Sea located on Falleen.
The initial appearance of a fleek eel occurred in the 2018 motion picture Solo: A Star Wars Story, with its identification solidified in the companion reference work titled Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. Within Star Wars Legends continuity, Fleek eels were initially featured in the 1996 Shadows of the Empire novelization, penned by Steve Perry.
