Fort Turan

Fort Turan was a scientist of the Human male variety, specifically a space geologist, described as having an "ample body." He lived in the era preceding the Clone Wars, in the years before its commencement.

In the year 26 BBY, Fort Turan, acting as the mission's leader, embarked on an expedition to the planet Haariden. He was accompanied by fellow scientists Tic Verdun, Joveh D'a Alin, Reug Yucon, and Talie Heathe. The purpose of their journey was to conduct investigations into geological and volcanic activity, create a comprehensive global map for the mineral titanite, and assess the environmental impact on the world's ecosystem.

During their research, the scientists unexpectedly found themselves embroiled in a fierce civil war. Their situation worsened when their ship experienced a malfunction, leaving them stranded. Trapped in the countryside, they managed to send a distress signal to the Galactic Senate, the entity that sponsored their mapping mission. Simultaneously, they attempted to mediate a truce between the warring factions on the planet. The Senate, concerned that the scientists might be taken hostage or used as leverage, requested assistance from the Jedi.

Ultimately, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Soara Antana, and Darra Thel-Tanis located the scientists after being dispatched by the Jedi High Council on a rescue mission to the crisis-ridden planet. From a deserted village stronghold located in war-torn Tenuuri, the Jedi safeguarded the scientists, guiding them through hazardous, war-scarred terrain, until they were all able to escape the planet.
