Joveh D'a Alin

Joveh D'a Alin, a blue-skinned scientist of the female persuasion, was a specialist in planetary tectonics and mineralogy. She lived in the era preceding the Clone Wars, many years before that conflict began.

In the year 26 BBY, Joveh D'a Alin, a compassionate individual with prior medical training before her scientific pursuits, embarked on an expedition to the planet Haariden. She was accompanied by fellow scientists Tic Verdun, Fort Turan, Reug Yucon, and Talie Heathe. Their mission was to investigate geological and volcanic activities, globally map the mineral titanite, and assess the environmental impact on the world's ecosystem.

However, their research took an unexpected turn when the scientists became embroiled in a fierce civil war. The malfunction of their ship left them stranded. While trapped in the countryside, they managed to send a distress signal to the Galactic Senate, the organization sponsoring their mapping endeavor. They also attempted to broker peace between the warring factions on the planet. The Senate, fearing the scientists might be taken hostage or used as leverage, sought assistance from the Jedi.

Ultimately, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Soara Antana, and Darra Thel-Tanis located the scientists. The Jedi High Council had dispatched them on a rescue mission to the war-torn world. From a deserted stronghold in the war-ravaged region of Tenuuri, the Jedi protected the scientists, guiding them safely through the dangerous, war-scarred landscape, until they were all able to escape the planet.
