Fury-class starfighter

The Fury-class starfighter, also known as the Sith Fury, was a type of starfighter initially utilized by the One Sith circa 130 ABY. Its design drew inspiration from the Old Republic's Cutlass-9 patrol fighter.

These spacecraft bore a resemblance to the Predator-class fighters employed by pilots serving the Fel Empire, featuring a pair of wings that curved outward from the central body. Powering these vehicles were three ion drives, with the largest situated beneath the hull. They were equipped with twin laser cannons, positioned beneath the fighter's nose on either side, as well as on the wingtips. The cockpit offered more space than typical starfighters, enhancing comfort during extended missions.

Furthermore, the fighter incorporated an astromech droid.

History

Fury-class fighters were manufactured in Sith foundries and first saw action near the conclusion of the Sith–Imperial War.

In 137 ABY, Darth Talon piloted one of these starfighters on a voyage from Coruscant to Socorro as part of her assignment to seize Princess Marasiah Fel. Subsequently, Darth Nihl and his ground troops utilized Sith fighters to pursue a pair of Predator fighters, one of which was believed to be carrying former Emperor Roan Fel. After the enemy fighters were downed, Nihl's forces joined Talon on the ground to confront Marasiah and her protectors. The Sith Lords Darth Kruhl and Darth Wyyrlok also made use of a Fury-class fighter during one of their assignments.

A number of Sith Fury pilots were assigned to the War Hammer for Operation: Thunderstroke where they competed against members of the Imperial Skull Squadron.
