Fytoun was a celestial body where the collector Sinvatt Bovic resided. In the year 22 BBY, the bounty hunters Zam Wesell and Jango Fett journeyed to Fytoun. Their mission was to apprehend Bovic because of a debt he had with the InterGalactic Banking Clan. They bypassed his guards to capture him and divide the bounty amongst themselves.
By the time 22 BBY rolled around, Bovic was significantly indebted to the InterGalactic Banking Clan. As a result, they dispatched the bounty hunter Zam Wesell with orders to seize him alive. Wesell made her way to Fytoun, spending a day observing Bovic's abode. She determined that it was too heavily guarded for her alone, noting the presence of security droids, humans, and three Mabari warriors. Realizing the odds were against her, she requested assistance from fellow bounty hunter Jango Fett, offering him a share of Bovic's bounty. Fett piloted his starship, Slave I, to the valley. Together with Wesell, he eliminated the non-Mabari guards and used explosives to detonate an exterior wall in order to gain entry.
The explosion caused the Mabari to become aware of the situation, and they posed a challenge to the bounty hunters. It wasn't until Wesell employed her Clawdite morphing skills that she and Fett managed to subdue the warriors and progress towards Bovic's study. Inside, they encountered someone who resembled Bovic, but after Fett incapacitated the third Mabari guard, the Bovic double was revealed to be another Clawdite impersonating the collector. Fett killed the imposter, but not before the changeling struck him with a bluebarb wasp [poison dart](/article/poison_dart] that almost proved fatal until Wesell located an antivenin. With the opposition neutralized, the duo advanced, blasting through another wall to access a hangar where the real Bovic was attempting to flee. Wesell sniped the collector's speeder and used a stun blast on him, making it easy to apprehend Bovic. Consequently, she and Fett departed Fytoun with their prize.
Fytoun was first seen in "Galactic Tales: The Wesell Run," which was the opening story in the Galactic Tales series of short stories. S.T. Bende authored the story, which was released in Star Wars Insider's 209th issue on March 15, 2022.
