A Trandoshan male, named Gaar, resided in the Cularin system as the Galactic Republic neared its end, during its final years.
Gaar's occupation was that of a barman, working within the Tolea Biqua franchise of Vanster Enan's Sop House. During the SoroSuub Anniversary celebration in 31 BBY, he was present at that location.
Gaar had joined the Believers, a Sith cult active within the Cularin system, by the time the Clone Wars began. When the Heroes of Cularin found an item within the asteroid belt that possessed the potential to destroy the Darkstaff, Len Markus, who led the Believers, dispatched Gaar, along with Ulis and other members of the Believers, on a journey to prevent the heroes from succeeding.
