Its location along a supply route connecting the river to the docking bays of Hedrett contributed to its lively atmosphere, often filled with rowdy music. A signature drink, advertised as "fine Ithorian brandy," was actually a homemade concoction crafted by Vanster Enan, an Ithorian, using sap from Cularin trees.
During the bicentennial celebration of Reidi Artom's establishment of Gadrin, a young man named Darin dramatically entered the Sop House, proclaiming the imminent danger facing Cularin. He was promptly apprehended by security personnel wearing House Hirskaala attire and escorted away. This event spurred several Sop House regulars to investigate, ultimately leading them to expose and dismantle a pirate organization.
Furthermore, the Sop House served as a central hub for festivities following the triumph over the Metatheran Cartel approximately one month later. The establishment also dispatched delegates to the SoroSuub Anniversary celebration, 31 BBY held in Genarius.
