Garsa Fwip's Sanctuary, often referred to as the Sanctuary, functioned as a multifaceted establishment: a cantina, a high-end club, and a casino. It was situated in Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine throughout the New Republic Era. The Twi'lek proprietor of this cantina was the female Madam Garsa Fwip. This elaborate venue featured a fully stocked bar, gaming tables for gambling, and regular live musical performances, and even offered helmet cleaning services. A minimum of two employees worked at the Sanctuary, including a male Twi'lek server and a female Twi'lek server. The cantina met its destruction when two operatives from the Pyke Syndicate planted an explosive device, cleverly concealed within a camtono.
The Sanctuary made its debut in the live-action television show The Book of Boba Fett, specifically in the initial episode titled "Chapter 1: Stranger in a Strange Land."
