The Garyn Raider Base, a fortified installation, was situated far to the south of the city of Narmle. It resided within a mountainous area of Naboo's swampy satellite, Rori, during the era of the Galactic Civil War. This base served as the headquarters for the Garyn Raiders, a criminal syndicate established by former Vigos under the command of Black Sun leader Alexi Garyn. Notably, the Garyn Raider base was not far from a mysterious Jedi sanctuary. The base's personnel consisted of numerous Raiders referred to as "shivs," and it featured an exhibition space showcasing four lightsabers alongside skulls.
During the year 1 ABY, Lieutenant Orden Tarc from the Royal Naboo Security Forces commissioned a space pilot to probe a string of cybernetic laboratory intrusions, including one such incident in Narmle. A male Aqualish individual known as Ponda Baba was eventually linked to these break-ins. Following the space pilot's investigation of the Garyn Raider base, it was determined that Ponda Baba had sought their assistance, only to have his meager offering of credits dismissed as insignificant.
The Garyn Raider Base was featured as a location within the 2003 MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011. Its inclusion in the game occurred with the launch of "Game Update 12," on August 10, 2009.
