Ged, a clone trooper, fought for the Grand Army of the Republic during the era of the Clone Wars. He served within the ranks of Torrent Company of the famed 501st Legion. His service included engagements on Christophsis and Teth. Ultimately, Ged met his death during a battle on the Outer Rim planet of Teth, while the Republic attempted to rescue Rotta, the offspring of Jabba Desilijic Tiure.
In the year 22 BBY, specifically seven weeks following the First Battle of Geonosis, the 501st Legion of the Grand Army of the Republic's was dispatched to the Outer Rim planet of Christophsis. The Confederacy of Independent Systems had seized control of this strategically important world, a crucial point along the Corellian Run hyperlane. After the Republic broke through the planetary blockade, Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker led elements from the Thirteenth Army and the 501st into combat within the capital city of Chaleydonia, also known as the Crystal City, against the Separatist forces. Despite initial setbacks for the 501st, the clone soldiers of the 501st prepared to launch an offensive against the droid armies commanded by Confederacy General Whorm Loathsom.

Following the initial phase of the Battle of Christophsis, the Confederacy launched a counterattack against the 501st. The Republic forces' last hope rested on a battery of AV-7 Antivehicle Cannons. Even though the 501st had lost all of its armored vehicles early in the battle, the clone infantry prepared to defend against the overwhelming Separatist forces. Ged, alongside his comrades in Torrent Company, stood on the front lines. He survived the counterattack, but suffered a shoulder injury from shrapnel that pierced the gap between his armor plates. He sought treatment at the forward aid station.
Shortly after clone Sergeant Coric tended to his arm, the Confederacy launched a second attack. Ged re-entered the battle, joining Skywalker and clone Captain CT-7567, known as "Rex," against three octuparra droids threatening the Republic's AV-7 cannons. The clone forces positioned themselves above the main droid force and, led by Skywalker, rappelled into the thick of the fight. The Jedi Knight led the clones in repelling the droid attack once more, but they continued to suffer significant casualties.

After successfully repelling the counterattack, the Republic experienced a brief respite from the intense combat. However, this peace was short-lived, as the Confederacy launched another attack, this time utilizing an energy shield to protect their advance toward the Republic's position. Led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody", the 501st—including Ged—engaged the droid forces once they breached the energy shield's perimeter. As the Republic forces were pushed back, Skywalker and his new padawan, Ahsoka Tano, desperately tried to disable the energy shield so the Republic's cannons could target the droids. Following the defeat of the Confederacy forces, Ged and the rest of Torrent Company received orders to deploy to the Outer Rim world of Teth.

The 501st had little time to recover from the brutal fighting on Christophsis before being sent to Teth, an Outer Rim planet near the Wild Space region. Their mission was to rescue Rotta, the offspring of Jabba Desilijic Tiure. According to intelligence reports, the Huttlet was being held within a former B'omarr Monastery on the planet. Despite his injuries, Ged was assigned to the mission with Torrent Company. His unit suffered heavy losses while scaling the steep walls of the monastery, but Ged survived the climb. Once they reached the monastery, the surviving members of Torrent Company prepared to defend the entrance while Skywalker and Tano retrieved the Hutt.

After the Hutt was rescued, the Republic forces were attacked again by at least one squadron of Confederacy vulture starfighters and battle droids. The remaining members of Torrent Company took up defensive positions at the monastery entrance, setting up traps to hinder the approaching enemy forces. Ged was among the forty-two combat-ready soldiers left in the company as the clones prepared to defend the monastery, buying time for the Jedi to escape with the Hutt. Anticipating a massive assault, Ged prepared a tripwire in front of the door, while the rest of the unit placed explosives in the alcoves along the monastery walls and even in their own backpacks. Torrent Company was ready to fight to the last man, forcing the droids to advance over their fallen bodies to reach the Jedi.
The droid forces, led by Sith Assassin Asajj Ventress, quickly breached the heavy door guarding the monastery entrance. As the droids poured through the doorway, Ged's charges detonated, and the clone troopers opened fire. Ged was killed in the onslaught of battle droids entering the monastery, along with most of his comrades. However, the soldiers successfully held off the Confederacy long enough for Skywalker to complete the mission, but at a terrible price. Only six members of Torrent Company survived the battle.
Ged, a male Human clone derived from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett, possessed a height of 1.83 meters. He was a skilled clone soldier, eager to engage in combat on both Christophsis and Teth, even while injured.
Ged wore a suit of phase I clone trooper armor and carried materials for creating a tripwire during the Battle of Teth.
Ged's first appearance was in the 2008 novelization of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film written by Karen Traviss.
