Geng Salaban was a Human male who commanded the Battle Dog, a Quasar Fire-class bulk cruiser. This vessel was part of Group Two of the Solo Fleet during the hunt targeting Warlord Zsinj. Subsequently, Salaban took command of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer named Allegiance.
While in command of the Allegiance, he accompanied General Wedge Antilles and Red Flight to the planet Adumar for negotiations regarding the planet joining the New Republic. Salaban and his crew maintained a position of neutrality during the short civil war because Intelligence Sector Head Tomer Darpen's issued a communications blackout. Following the creation of the Adumari Union, Salaban was involved in the Battle of Adumar fighting against the Imperial Remnant.
