Gonda, a planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories at grid square N-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid, was the location where Lando Calrissian, a smuggler, almost suffered the loss of his droid companion, L3-37, due to an unwise bet in a sabacc game with a Hutt species member. The historian Eloc Throno featured Gonda on a map within his book, Traveler's Guide to Batuu.
The planet Gonda initially appeared in Lando's Luck, a junior novel from 2018 penned by Justina Ireland.
