A mother, who was a human female from the Scyre clan, resided on the planet of Parnassos situated within the Unknown Regions; she was also the parent of Gosta. She had already died many years prior to 24 ABY, which was the year that General Brendol Hux of the First Order experienced a crash-landing on Parnassos. Some time after her passing, Siv, a Scyre clan member and Gosta's friend, proposed that Gosta lacked life skills because her mother had passed away and could not instruct her.
The 2017 novel Phasma, penned by Delilah S. Dawson, included a reference to Gosta's mother.
