Gozetta, like her father and grandfather before her, pursued the profession of a big game hunter; she was a human female. During the Galactic Empire's reign, she established an opulent hunting lodge on the planet Xirl, situated in Wild Space, with the intention of breeding and hunting creatures brought in from elsewhere.
Gozetta, a female human born into a family of big game hunters, followed the path of her ancestors. Her father and grandfather had both engaged in this pursuit. She journeyed to numerous planets and moons, hunting various beasts and claiming their heads as trophies. However, she grew to resent the heavily regulated tourist reserves where she was only permitted to hunt specific animals. Consequently, she resolved to find a world of her own.

Gozetta assembled a diverse crew consisting of Meggin, a humanoid male; Sata, an Umbaran female; and Delih, a Cerean male. She also employed two mercenaries: Corin, a Pau'an male, and Bort, a human male. Sometime during the Galactic Empire's age, Gozetta and her team explored Wild Space and discovered Xirl, a planet seemingly devoid of indigenous lifeforms larger than a tree snake. Gozetta planned to populate Xirl with dangerous creatures of her choosing, which would reproduce and flourish, providing her with a constant supply of challenging prey. Meggin was specifically responsible for ensuring the creatures survived long enough for Gozetta to hunt them. Gozetta established a luxurious hunting lodge on Xirl to house her trophies. The crew possessed at least two starships: the freighter Venture and Gozetta's personal golden shuttle. Unbeknownst to Gozetta, the seemingly harmless native stinkers of Xirl could grow to immense sizes if they lived long enough. One such giant resided in a cave previously inhabited by humanoids.
Events took a turn for the worse when Delih, Meggin, and Sata vanished. Gozetta, along with Bort and Corin, embarked on a search for their missing crew members, but their efforts proved fruitless. During the search, Gozetta noticed that some creature had torn large holes in the hull of the Venture, which she attributed to her gundarks. The huntress also discovered Lina and Milo Graf, two human younglings, along with their mismatched droid caretaker, Crater. In addition to finding intruders on her claimed planet, Gozetta discovered that a group of stinkers had damaged her lodge. The huntress forced the children to accompany her and her mercenaries through the jungle, in search of whatever had struck the Venture.
Following the trail, Gozetta and her unwilling hunting party arrived at the cave of the monstrous stinker. Gozetta forced the Grafs to enter the cave as bait to lure the beast out, threatening to withhold assistance in leaving Xirl if they refused. The huntress waited in front of the cave's entrance while her mercenaries took cover. Eventually, Meggin emerged from the lair, followed by Sata, the Grafs, and the giant stinker, still lurking in the shadows. Despite attempts by her crew and the children to dissuade her, Gozetta remained determined to stand her ground and kill the beast. However, after the stinker incapacitated Corin with a paralyzing agent and dragged him into the cave, Gozetta finally realized she was outmatched. She fled in the opposite direction, heading towards her golden shuttle back at the lodge, abandoning the rest of the party.

Although Gozetta managed to board the shuttle and take off, the beast lunged at her, gripping the craft with its pincers. After struggling for control, Gozetta briefly freed herself from the stinker's grasp, but the creature ensnared the ship with its tongue and dragged it into its mouth. The stinker's jaws then crushed the shuttle, sending it crashing into the trees. Miraculously, Gozetta survived the crash with only minor injuries. Emerging from the wreckage, she made a final stand against the monster, firing a rocket at it. However, the projectile missed, forcing Gozetta to retreat into the trees. The stinker pursued her into the dense forest, and a loud crash was the last sign of both Gozetta and the stinker.
When hunting, Gozetta dressed in black, wearing a tight-fitting suit, pauldrons, shin guards, and chest armor adorned with a spread-winged golden bird. She also wore a sensor mask that enhanced her senses. Her hunting arsenal included a long blaster rifle and a rocket launcher.
Tom Huddleston created Gozetta for Adventures in Wild Space: The Nest, the second book in the Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space series for young readers, published by Egmont UK. She and the giant stinker served as the antagonists against Lina and Milo Graf in the novel.
