Greel wood

Greel wood, sometimes written as greel-wood, referred to a specific kind of wood that came from trees located in the Far Hiradne forests of Lothal. It was possible to obtain Greel-wood syrup from this wood; however, due to the Galactic Empire's deforestation of the planet, it became a scarce item.

Following his engagement with the writings of Holshef, a human poet, Old Jho, an Ithorian, shared memories of greel-wood syrup from Far Hiradne with him. Holshef mentioned that he had previously been employed there as a young sap gatherer, and as their conversation progressed, they made their way to a secluded section of Old Jho's Pit Stop to savor a bottle of aged Hiradne syrup.

During 9 BBY, Cal Kestis, a Jedi Knight, incorporated greel-wood into the personalization of his lightsaber.
