Grub, an Evocii of male gender, functioned as an ambassador for the Hutt Cartel under the Supreme Mogul Karagga during the Galactic War. Following Karagga's Annexation of neutral systems in 3639 BBY, a time when armed conflict loomed between the Cartel and the reconstituted Sith Empire, Grub was dispatched to negotiate with the Empire's ambassador Rove on the Ziost Shadow. While Grub attempted to minimize Karagga's aggressive actions, the negotiations reached an impasse, leading Rove to authorize an Imperial strike team to travel to Hutta and address Karagga directly. With negotiations failing, the situation escalated into violence, resulting in Karagga's death and leaving the Hutt Cartel without a leader.
During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Grub, a male Evocii, served as an ambassador for the Hutt Cartel. Around the year 3639 BBY, Grub found himself on the Sith Empire's capital ship, the Ziost Shadow, in a meeting with Ambassador Rove of the Imperial Diplomatic Service, when an Imperial strike force made their arrival.
Despite the poor treatment of his Evocii people by the Hutts, Grub chose to represent them.
The character Ambassador Grub is found in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, specifically in Update 1.1, known as "Rise of the Rakghouls." He is a character in the Empire-aligned operation "Karagga's Palace," specifically within the quest titled "Best Foot Forward."
