Harkos

The Nikto bounty hunter known as Harkos plied his trade in Black Spire Outpost. This outpost was situated on the planet Batuu, found within the Outer Rim Territories and not far from Wild Space. Harkos had a fearsome reputation as a bounty hunter, and few desired to find themselves on his list of targets. Due to Harkos's regular presence there, those with bounties on their heads generally considered visiting Oga's Cantina in the outpost to be a perilous endeavor.

Harkos was an exceptionally skilled and ruthless individual, and he only accepted the most lucrative and important contracts, focusing on high-profile targets for influential clients. He did not need to take on small jobs.

Behind the scenes

Harkos frequented Oga's Cantina

During the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts panel at the D23 Expo on July 16, 2017, the character Harkos was revealed as one who would appear in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park land. These themed lands initially opened in 2019 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and subsequently at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. Harkos's image was first unveiled on December 16, 2017, during the "Galactic Nights" event, where a promotional trading card depicted him shaking his fist menacingly at a patron, accompanied by the text "Trouble's Brewing at the Cantina" written in either Aurebesh or High Galactic.

Despite the land's opening, Harkos has not yet made an in-person appearance but was featured in the book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu. He also makes a brief appearance in an animated Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures Fun Facts video.
