The Pyke Palace, which is also referred to as the high fortress of the Pyke Syndicate, functioned as the central headquarters for the Pyke Syndicate throughout the Clone Wars and continuing into the Imperial Era. Constructed from obsidian, the fortress was situated on the planet Oba Diah. Sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Crimson Dawn's leader, Lady Qi'ra, dispatched Margo, one of her advisors, to this stronghold. This was part of her scheme to upset the balance of power within the criminal organizations. Margo delivered false information to the Pykes, claiming that the Galactic Empire was having second thoughts about their alliance with the Hutt Clan after the Hutt Council attacked them on Jekara. She then proposed that they position themselves to take over as the Empire's new allies.
