Hoban, a male human who resided on the moon called Raada, was the twin sibling of Neera during the Galactic Empire's initial year. When Imperial troops landed on Raada, both Hoban and Neera became part of a resistance cell that was put together by Ashla, who had recently arrived on the moon. Disagreeing with Ashla's rather careful strategies, Hoban secretly developed more aggressive resistance schemes, including a planned assault on the Imperials' headquarters. He lost his life during this raid, and Ashla, secretly the former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, had to reveal her abilities as a Force-user in order to rescue the remaining members of Hoban's group, including Neera.
