During the Galactic Civil War, a Vurk pilot named Ibti Myrak, who was female, served as Rogue Five within the Alliance to Restore the Republic's renowned Rogue Squadron. As a blue-skinned individual, she piloted a T-65B X-wing starfighter in the Taris system alongside her fellow squadron members, under the leadership of Commander Luke Skywalker, during an attack targeting Galactic Empire shipyards, not long after joining the group. Myrak's R4 astromech droid, R4-MS, whom she affectionately called "Em-Ess," accompanied her on these missions. Later, while investigating a traitor who had set a trap for Rogue Squadron, Myrak engaged in combat with Mon Calamari Admiral Gial Ackbar aboard Ackbar's flagship, Home One.
The "Squad Goals" narrative, which appeared in the eleventh and twelfth editions of the 2020 Star Wars Adventures comic book series, featured Ibti Myrak in a two-part story arc. Cavan Scott penned the story, while Manuel Bracchi provided the illustrations, with publication dates of October 19 and November 24, 2021.
