The Iego council functioned as a guild. Its membership consisted of both residents and officials from Cliffhold, the city and spaceport located on the planet Iego.
During a mission to the planet, the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker presented themselves before the council. They held suspicions that the entity the council revered as an evil god called Drol was, in reality, a Separatist security system. Amit Noloff, an official within the council, voiced immediate opposition to this notion. Ultimately, the Jedi succeeded in persuading the inhabitants of Cliffhold to recognize the true nature of Iego, which differed from their prior beliefs.
