Imperial Broadcast

The Imperial Broadcast functioned as a media outlet, responsible for the creation of entertainment and informational programming intended for the Galactic Empire. Senjax, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, held the formal position of military correspondent for the broadcast service. During Jyn Erso's childhood, who was a partisan, forged a false Imperial media communication bearing Senjax's signature to drive home a point to fellow rebel Idryssa Barruck. Later on, Erso viewed a genuine Imperial Broadcast holo by Senjax, which detailed the Empire's developing relationship with the planet Inusagi, as well as the forthcoming sakoola blossom festival hosted there, shortly before she embarked on a mission to that world in 6 BBY.

The year 3 ABY saw the Imperial Broadcast publicize a new entertainment program called Cadet Frontier. This show involved prospective cadets undergoing simulated combat exercises against rebels over a period of six weeks. Dorna Parros, a reporter for HoloNet News, covered the announcement, promoting the fact that applications for participation in the show were now being accepted.
