Imperial Impound Facility

The Imperial Impound Facility served as a location on the planet of Iakar. The Galactic Empire utilized this facility to hold starships that had been seized. The Millennium Falcon found itself impounded at this location sometime between approximately 8 BBY and 2 BBY; this occurred following the mission to Mollo Tanka, when the criminal Corbus Tyra last controlled it. Tyra subsequently journeyed to the facility with the intention of retrieving his ship, but Marshal Buck Vancto of the Benelex Marshal Service instead apprehended him. Following Tyra's successfully extracted by Khel Tanna's crew and the bounty hunter Greedo, they made their way back to Iakar to infiltrate the facility and reclaim the Falcon.
