Though not explicitly named, Inleshat made a comeback to present-day Star Wars canon within the third installment of the comic book series Star Wars: The High Republic, penned by Cavan Scott, with illustrations by Ario Anindito and Andrea Broccardo, and brought to publication by Marvel Comics on October 12, 2022. Scott subsequently verified that Inleshat had returned to canon by identifying Wozo's species.
Within the Star Wars Legends narrative, the Inleshat initially were featured in the seventy-fourth edition of the 1977 Marvel Comics comic book series Star Wars, which was authored by Mary Jo Duffy and visually rendered by Ron Frenz.
