The ancients referred to a section of land situated on Ashla, which is the main moon orbiting the planet Tython, as the Isle of Seclusion. This isle was found within an ocean, characterized by its hot sun and warm, golden sands. Carnivorous wingmaws populated this region.
After the dedication ceremony for the Starlight Beacon, Jedi Master Elzar Mann, haunted by a disturbing Force vision he experienced at the event, sought out the Isle of Seclusion. His aim was to find peace and concentrate on meditating about the vision. He ventured into the ocean to further isolate himself, and later, a vision urged him to depart from Ashla and travel to the planet Valo.
