Jake Fenn, a Je'daii Temple Master of the Je'daii Order on Tython, was a Human male during the peak of the Infinite Empire's power. During the Force Wars, when the Rakata launched an assault on the Tython system, Fenn took on the role of a general, fighting to defend the Settled Worlds from the invading Empire.
Jake Fenn, a Human with Force-sensitive abilities, received training in the Force from the Je'daii Order on Tython. Tython was one of the nine planets comprising the Settled Worlds located within the Tython system. Born into a family with a strong connection to the Force, his sister, Rori, served as a Je'daii Ranger. Sometime before 25,808 BBY, Fenn was appointed as a Je'daii Temple Master and oversaw the Great Temple of the Arts, known as Bodhi. Armed with a unique Force-imbued blade, Fenn, alongside the other Temple Masters, formed the Je'daii Council, holding meetings through holocommunication at the Temple of Balance, Akar Kesh.
Brock's son, Dalien, believed that the Temple Master's praise for his work stemmed solely from his respect for his father, Je'daii Master Brock, who was a friend of Fenn. In 25,793 BBY, Fenn joined the other Masters' Council in communicating when the Devourer crashed onto Tython, triggering a massive and devastating Force Storm. Fenn and his fellow Temple Masters collaborated in meditation to dissipate the Force Storm and avert the complete destruction of the planet. Later, after the escape of the Force Hound Xesh and the exiled Je'daii Daegen Lok from the moon of Bogan, Fenn and his sister spearheaded a Je'daii team in pursuit of the fugitives. Piloting two Peacemaker-class cruisers in pursuit, Fenn's group, which included Journeyer Sek'nos Rath and Ranger Bel Zana, investigated the cells on Bogan, only to find them teeming with terenta. Tracking the pair to Krev Coeur, Fenn and his Je'daii companions confronted them within the crystal mines. During his duel with Lok, Fenn commented on Lok's arrogance, prompting the exile to slash him across the chest. Delving into Fenn's deepest fear, Lok discovered his affection for Ranger Zana and used the Force to hurl her over the cliff, warping her mind to make her believe she was engulfed in flames. As Lok and Xesh made their escape, Rath gave his life to rescue Zana, enabling Fenn to rush her to a medical facility. After bringing her to Kalimahr, Fenn informed the other Je'daii about Zana's condition and the potential death of Rath.
