Jedder existed as a male during the era known as the New Sith Wars. He participated in the conflict, battling the Sith of the Brotherhood of Darkness as a member of the Army of Light. Following the conclusion of the war in 1000 BBY, Jedder rose to prominence within the Doan Royal Guard, achieving the rank of Captain and becoming a senior figure. In 980 BBY, Princess Serra engaged the services of an Iktotchi female, referred to as the Huntress, with the intention of capturing Darth Bane, because she thought that the Dark Lord of the Sith was responsible for her father's death. Jedder was tasked with assisting the Huntress, but he met his end during the assault.
