Skirmish in Darth Bane's mansion

This confrontation transpired within Darth Bane's residence, situated on Ciutric IV, during the year 980 BBY. Serra, a Princess and the offspring of Caleb, learned of her father's demise a decade prior, which occurred after he had restored Darth Bane to health on two separate occasions. Driven by vengeance, she contracted The Huntress, an Iktotchi assassin, to seize Bane and deliver him to her. To aid in this endeavor, she furnished the Huntress with several mercenaries and Captain Jedder, a high-ranking member of Serra's Royal Guard. Their arrival at Bane's abode occurred shortly before the Dark Lord of the Sith returned from his expedition to Prakith.

As the Dark Lord stepped into his dwelling, two sonic detonators, positioned on opposite sides of the entrance, detonated, briefly disorienting him. Subsequently, he was ambushed by a quartet of mercenaries, whose stun blasts he deflected utilizing a Force barrier. Concurrently, the Huntress initiated interference with his capacity to harness the Force, resulting in one projectile breaching his defenses and striking him. He swiftly regained composure, unleashing Force lightning towards the four mercenaries. However, owing to the disruption, his energy bolts only eliminated three; the remaining mercenary managed to retreat over the balcony, evading the lightning. Subsequently, a group of five soldiers materialized and assailed him with tangle guns.

Bane propelled himself upwards, grasping the chandelier and using it to launch himself onto the balcony. There, he confronted the Huntress, recognizing her as the source of the disruption to his Force connection. She attacked, creating a diversion long enough to keep him from seeing the flash grenades at his feet. Upon their detonation, he was blinded and staggered backward into the balcony's railing. The Iktotchi delivered a kick to his chest, sending him tumbling over the railing's edge. As he plummeted to the floor, he lost hold of his lightsaber and was immediately ensnared by multiple tangle gun blasts, immobilizing him. Bane then mustered the strength to shatter the tangle guns' restraints with a surge of electricity, before rolling aside to evade a stabbing attempt by the Huntress, who had descended after him.

He summoned his lightsaber back to his grasp, but the Huntress withdrew, yielding the battleground to the mercenaries once more. A series of flash grenades erupted around him, yet Bane relied on his Force-enhanced perception, bypassing his physical eyesight. Additional webbing was discharged at him, but he neutralized it before it could bind him. Subsequently, several concussion grenades were launched in his direction, prompting Bane to erect another protective shield around himself. Jedder and another soldier then emerged, firing at him, but Bane redirected the stun bolts, slamming them against the wall behind a couch. He then swiftly bisected two more soldiers in half before ascending back to the balcony to confront the Iktotchi again. Bane attacked her with his lightsaber, and the Huntress responded with her dual knives; both attacks missed, however, and Bane used the Force to throw her over the balcony. She landed on her feet, however, and dodged the Force lightning that he then sent at her. He jumped down, dodging the soldiers' stun bolts, trying to get after the Huntress. However, at some point during the fight, the Huntress had managed to strike his forearm with one of her knives—which had been tipped with senflax, a neurotoxin. As he landed, he instantly fell down, unconscious. Instructing the mercenaries to cease their assault, the Huntress sensed Darth Zannah's impending arrival and orchestrated their departure. She seized the Dark Lord's lightsaber, and they retreated to the shuttle that would convey them to Doan.
