"Jedi Rocks" is a musical piece song played by the Max Rebo Band. This band once played the song for Jabba Desilijic Tiure, the Hutt crime lord, at his palace located on the planet of Tatooine. The lyrics of the song, spontaneously created by the vocalist Sy Snootles, were so suggestive that they caused embarrassment to the conservative Bib Fortuna, and it is probable that the Galactic Empire would have officially prohibited it. C-3PO, the protocol droid, who witnessed the performance, was confused by Snootles' clear misuse of various verbs. The performance came to an abrupt halt when Jabba, overcome with rage, threw the Twi'lek dancer Oola to his rancor named Pateesa. This occurred just prior to Leia Organa, a general from the Rebel Alliance, arriving at the palace disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh with the Wookiee Chewbacca in captivity.
